The Sauvignon Blanc occupies around 5% of the vineyard area owned by WEINGUT CHRIST in Vienna – Jedlersdorf and is situated in the Ried Breiten, a magnificent site, that boarders directly on Vienna’s most beautiful and picturesque Kellergasse.
The protected location favours early and complete ripening of the grapes even in very late years.

Those conditions are profiting for a rapid warming of the soils and provide a powerful rootable space for the vines while allowing good drainage of the soils.
