At WEINGUT CHRIST in Wien-Jedlersdorf, Grüner Veltliner covers around 30 % of the vineyard area and grows in numerous sites on the Bisamberg, some of them with quite different microclimates.

As Austria's national grape variety, Grüner Veltliner is highly regarded worldwide and an important part of our range. With its clear fruit, this wine is a particularly versatile companion to food and can certainly be credited with several years of ageing potential.

According to analyses by the Federal Office of Viticulture (Bundesamt für Weinbau), the histamine content is below 0.1 mg/l and therefore not detectable.

The well-drained soils, shaped by mineral-rich loam and loess, give the wine its elegant freshness and enchant every wine lover.
