That is exactly why we make it. In good years it shows a structure that none of our other wines has.

It needs time in the glass, and it needs something to eat with it.

The red diva: always a fantastic reflection of the vintage. A grape variety that is not easy to grow, but all the more convincing in the glass.
Taste: velvety, juicy, timeless

From Bordeaux, probably the most famous red grape variety has made its way out into the wide world, and it did not stop short of the vineyards of the Bisamberg either. We have been working with this variety since 1998.

This wine was aged for 18 months in barriques (50% new, 50% used) of French oak.

Contains sulphites.

Deep dark ruby garnet, fine cassis fruit and leafy spice, velvety dense texture with a silky firm tannin core and great potential for development.

The vineyards lie on Vienna's Bisamberg. Flysch, a sandstone compressed over millions of years and rich in lime and minerals, shapes the soils and gives the wines nobility and elegant freshness.
