Few people know that numerous well-known grape varieties carry Traminer genes. But in its original form, too, this „classic beauty“ guarantees deep concentration and enormous ageing potential.
In its complexity the wine always presents itself as rich, usually with soft, well-integrated acidity. Carefully made, its aromas are inviting and reveal ripe notes of lychee and zest as well as floral notes of rosewood. Its outstanding ability to age makes Traminer perfect for an oenological journey through time, including impressive aromatic dimensions!
According to analyses by the Federal Office of Viticulture (Bundesamt für Weinbau), the histamine content is below 0.1 mg/l and therefore not detectable.

Taste Profile
The nose shows at once: this is no light, playful Traminer. Powerful notes of rose water, finely combined with a delicate spice from the wood. Very dense and intense. Floral on the palate, rose aromas again, slightly nutty. Elegantly creamy on the finish. The wine ends in a long finale carried by delicate tannins.
