The dancing renaissance. True classics do not fade, they reinvent themselves. Today the Wiener Gemischter Satz is celebrating an impressive comeback, proving how the most traditional form of viticulture can capture the modern way of life perfectly. It is the return of a legend that stood, and still stands, uncompromisingly and profoundly for enjoyment.
This wine looks far back and yet boldly moves forward. At its centre are the best-adapted varieties of the region, which no longer grow in strictly separated monocultures but thrive side by side: a lively, colourful garden. In times of monotony this diversity is nature's most beautiful answer: a respectful togetherness that conserves resources and translates origin, unadulterated, into the here and now.
In the glass, history and modernity merge into a completely new rhythm. With dancing elegance and a fine, medium depth, this wine picks up the great Viennese tradition and leads it straight into a refreshingly drinkable experience. A dialogue between the eras that tells stories and is simply great fun.

The Viennese classic: combines cool fruitiness, elegance and freshness in textbook fashion
Taste: light-footed, fruity, fresh
The Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC from Weingut Christ comes exclusively from sites on the Bisamberg on the left bank of the Danube. The grapes are hand-picked and processed together. The composition is therefore always determined by nature and not by the winemaker in the cellar.
This most traditional way of growing and making wine always perfectly mirrors site and vintage and is thus the ideal wine of origin with regional roots.
This wine is characterised by its variety of grapes. Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Roter Veltliner, Welschriesling and Weissburgunder are made together into a light-footed, refreshingly fruity, elegant wine.
According to analyses by the Federal Office of Viticulture (Bundesamt für Weinbau), the histamine content is below 0.1 mg/l and therefore not detectable.
Contains sulphites.
refreshing, fine spice, juicy apple, ripe citrus notes
Flysch, a sandstone compressed over millions of years and rich in lime and minerals, gives the wine nobility and elegant freshness.
