The „Freude Grande Cuvée brut“ already carries its deepest truth and all the passion of our work proudly in its name: Freude means joy. It is the liquid essence of those moments in which life shines in all its beauty.

This work springs from our classic, deeply rooted Wiener Gemischter Satz vineyards. Vinified according to the strict rules of traditional bottle fermentation, this cuvée then enters a time of absolute stillness: for more than two years it rests deep down in cool, dark cellar shafts to find on the lees that perfect balance that distinguishes it today.

When the cork pops, a sparkling wine of aristocratic stature reveals itself. Festive and sublime, without ever seeming excessive or loud. On the palate it is wonderfully vinous, structured and yet flooded with irrepressible, crystalline freshness.

This extraordinary complexity makes the Grande Cuvée a true quick-change artist: it is not only a brilliant soloist as an aperitif, but also a characterful, subtle companion to food that knows how to artfully flatter numerous dishes. A sip of pure joie de vivre that ennobles the moment.
