The vine roots are able to penetrate it and, deep inside, come across a hidden universe of resources and moisture. And when a heavy storm passes over the Bisamberg, the flysch proves its ingenious architecture: the soils drain superbly, the water runs off, and the precious berries do not soak it up like a sponge. They stay concentrated, healthy and proud.
